Recently, two member universities of Ho Chi Minh City National University, An Giang University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, coordinated with the research group of the project "Investment in education and career orientation for high school students of households in the Southwest region - The case of An Giang province", code number DA2024-18b-01 (of Ho Chi Minh City National University) to organize a scientific conference with the theme: "Investment in education and career orientation for high school students of households in the Southwest region - The case of An Giang province".

According to Dr. Phan Anh Tu (Head of the Department of Cultural Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities), each household's investment in education is a core factor. The family is often the place to consult and make the first decisions after students graduate from high school. If these decisions lack support from scientific information and lack understanding of labor market needs, we will certainly waste a lot of resources, significantly affecting the future of our children and slowing down the overall development of the locality.
