The first AI arena in Dong Nai uses humanoid robots

On September 1, the Department of Information and Communications of Dong Nai province said it is coordinating with the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union, the Union of Science and Technology Associations and Lac Hong University to organize the RoboG Dong Nai 2024 competition.

This is the largest robot competition ever held in Dong Nai and is also considered the first artificial intelligence (AI) arena in the area using humanoid robots.

For the first time, Dong Nai organized a major competition on robots and used humanoid robots.

The RoboG 2024 competition in Dong Nai province has received registrations from more than 100 teams with nearly 300 contestants. In the preliminary round, the teams will submit their products (Ucode game/ Ucode AI application) for evaluation by the judges. The best teams will advance to the final round (taking place in early September 2024).

In the final round, the organizing committee will select the top 3 teams in each group to represent Dong Nai province to participate in the final round of the national RoboG 2024 competition in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of September 2024.

According to Mr. Ta Quang Truong, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Dong Nai province, the contest aims to provide students with a passion for technology a playground in the field of AI, and this is also an activity within the framework of activities to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day on October 10.
