Impressions of the second "Walking on the Clouds" journey - Conquering Ta Xua peak

Ta Xua Mountain is located in the south of Hoang Lien Son range, bordering Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province and Bac Yen district, Son La province. Starting from the foot of the mountain in Ban Cong commune, Tram Tau district and the destination is Ta Xua peak at an altitude of 2,865m above sea level. On the journey to conquer Ta Xua peak, athletes must overcome a dangerous mountainous road of 12 km, which seems not long, but the terrain is constantly steep, many slippery sections, strong winds, quickly eroding the energy of the most experienced climbers.

The highlight of the journey is the "dragon's spine" - a narrow and long mountain range, hidden in the sea of ​​clouds like a giant dragon's spine. The road is only wide enough for one person to pass, with deep abysses on both sides, strong winds, and rolling clouds, creating a scene that is both spectacular and heart-stopping. Every step requires alertness and steadiness both physically and mentally, but this is also the place that brings the most unforgettable experience to the participating journalists. Next is the primeval forest with a fairy moss forest - where every frame becomes a work of art. Tree trunks covered with moss, sparkling light through the leaves, dew drops... all create a magical and enchanting space. Many people have chosen to slow down to record each of these memorable moments.

The athletes on the mountain climbing journey had many memorable emotions and unforgettable memories. Not only participating in the competition, everyone also immersed themselves in the space of the Tram Tau District Ethnic Culture Festival. Along with that was a series of special activities such as: Ethnic costume performance; booths of local agricultural products of 12 communes in Tram Tau district; display of traditional handicrafts; demonstration of the art of making Mong flutes; competition and exchange of traditional ethnic sports; exploring Cu Vai Village located on a high mountain peak, covered in fog all year round.

When the first steps reached the top of Ta Xua, some people shouted with joy, some people quietly looked at the clouds hovering under their feet, their hands lightly touched the 2,865m milestone marking the top of Tu Xua mountain. After more than 2 hours of effort to overcome the challenge of the rugged high mountain terrain, athlete Trinh Hoang Yen - Yen Bai Provincial Journalists Association excellently won the first prize in the men's category. The first prize in the women's category belonged to athlete Tran Thu Trang - Vietnam News Agency with a time of 3 hours.

Mr. Trinh Hoang Yen - Yen Bai Provincial Journalists Association excitedly shared: "The journey to conquer Ta Xua peak is a wonderful experience, not only to challenge myself but also to enjoy the wild natural beauty. From the experience of participating in the first season of mountain climbing with the motivation and love of experiencing discovery, overcoming my own limits, I am determined to strive and achieve the highest achievement in this second season".

Thereby, creating a source of income for people to provide tourism services, introduce and sell local agricultural products, especially helping Tram Tau district to be on the tourist map known to many domestic and foreign tourists".
