Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee took the names of two Vietnamese archipelagos, Hoang Sa and Truong Sa, to name the northern coastal route of Ninh Thuan province.
On January 12, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province issued Official Dispatch No. 92/UBND-VXNV implementing Resolution No. 36/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 14, 2023 of the People's Council of Ninh Thuan province on naming Hoang SA and Truong Sa streets on the coastal road in the north of Ninh Thuan province. Previously, at the 15th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Council passed a resolution agreeing to use the names of two Vietnamese archipelagos, Hoang Sa and Truong Sa, to name the northern coastal road of Ninh Thuan province. Accordingly, Hoang Sa road is 20km long (not including the 7km section through Khanh Hoa province), the starting point is adjacent to National Highway 1 in Suoi Gieng village, Cong Hai commune, Thuan Bac district and the end point is adjacent to the intersection of the road to Vinh Hy village, Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district. Truong Sa road is 30km long, starting from the intersection of the road to Vinh Hy village, Vinh Hai commune and the end point is south of Ninh Chu bridge, adjacent to Truong Chinh road, Khanh Hai town, Ninh Hai district. The coastal road of Ninh Thuan province has a total length of 106 km, the starting point is in Cong Hai commune, Thuan Bac district, bordering Khanh Hoa province; The end point of the route is in Ca Na commune, Thuan Nam district, bordering Binh Thuan province. This route is considered one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the Central region, with a total investment of more than 4,551 billion VND from government bond capital and targeted support capital from the Government; the road was completed and put into use in 2015.
