On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, dozens of years old peach trees, originating from Son La province, are being sold and rented by traders for prices ranging from 50-250 million VND, attracting the attention of people in the capital.

Currently, dozens of ancient peach trees are being transported and displayed by traders in Long Bien district (Hanoi).

According to records, this type of peach tree is about 3-5 m tall, including the pot. There are many buds and flowers on the branches.

Mr. Nguyen, a seller here, said: "My garden is mainly ancient peach trees from Son La province, over 30 years old. Most of my regular customers come to rent them for 50 million to 250 million VND/tree. Some large trees have been reserved in advance."

It is known that Northwest wild peaches are often more expensive than Nhat Tan peaches (Hanoi). When playing wild peaches, people will play the root, not just the buds and flowers. The bigger and rougher the tree trunk, the more expensive it is.

Wild peach blossoms are also quite different with thick petals and a faded pink color. The peach trees for sale are predicted to start blooming in just a few days and will be in full bloom by Tet.

A giant, large-sized ancient peach tree is being offered for rent by traders for about more than 200 million VND.

According to traders, the transportation time from Son La to Hanoi takes about 7 hours and is very difficult. Each 15-ton truck can only carry one tree. After unloading from the truck, a little sand must be added on top because it is impossible to transport such a large soil ball. Therefore, the transportation fee is calculated quite high.

Besides, smaller sized Northwest wild peach trees are also sold at a "softer" price of under 50 million VND.

The appearance of Northwest wild peach blossoms attracts the attention of the people of the capital.
