On September 18, the leaders of Vung Tau City People's Committee (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) coordinated with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Department of Tourism to survey the double-decker bus route around the coastal city.
Many people enjoy the experience of riding a double-decker bus around the coastal city of Vung Tau.
This is a project using double-decker, open-top buses to carry out tours and routes in Vung Tau city to visit historical sites and explore famous tourist attractions of the coastal city.
The project is expected to help promote local tourism development. At the same time, it will help bring new and attractive experiences to domestic and international tourists.
With the double-decker bus, visitors have the opportunity to see many famous landmarks in Vung Tau from above and enjoy the beautiful coastal route from Front Beach to Back Beach, then go around the landmarks, historical sites and return to the starting point of Dau Beach.
On this route, in addition to enjoying the sea and scenery, visitors will explore architectural works of cultural and spiritual significance such as the Hydrofoil wharf, Nghinh Phong cape, Thich Ca Phat Dai, Bach Dinh...
With such a route, the double-decker bus in the future will meet the needs of tourists, enhancing the experience for visitors when coming to the coastal city.
Sharing about her experience on the double-decker bus, Ms. Bich Ngoc (living in Vung Tau city) said that she was very excited to experience this new means of transport.
"The route is reasonable, the car is airy and high so tourists can observe many points and locations... Especially seeing the coastal city from above is great.
I think the early morning and late afternoon buses will attract a large number of passengers because the sunrise and sunset in the coastal city are very beautiful, so many people will get on the bus to take photos and check in," Ms. Ngoc shared.

Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism, said that this project contributes to building the image of the tourism industry, helping tourists have new options to explore famous tourist destinations in Vung Tau.
Double-decker buses also have the potential to attract more international tourists to Ba Ria – Vung Tau. After this survey, the Department of Tourism will have specific contributions for the investor to improve.
Meanwhile, the leaders of Vung Tau City People's Committee will re-evaluate the reality, shape the tour framework and routes in the area, and give comments to investors. The locality also hopes that this will be one of the new places for tourists to experience when coming to the coastal city.
