On April 15th, Apple CEO Tim Cook posted interesting photos and status updates on his social media account on X, marking the start of his business trip which will last until the 16th. According to the plan, the Apple CEO will meet with developers, content creators, and visit schools.

“There’s no place quite like Vietnam, a vibrant and beautiful country. I’m incredibly excited to be here connecting with students, creators, and customers, and to better understand the diversity in how they use our products to create extraordinary things,” shared Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The first place Apple CEO Tim Cook visited was Madam Hien's restaurant on Hang Be Street. There, he enjoyed egg coffee with singer My Linh and her daughter My Anh.

With gold as its dominant color, Madam Hien restaurant is built with symmetrical architecture, impressing with its wooden doors and glass panels covering the entire facade. Besides European dishes, it is famous for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine such as pho, spring rolls, braised fish, steamed rice rolls, and fresh spring rolls… The dishes here are not only meticulously prepared but also elaborately decorated, providing a memorable experience for diners.

According to reports, Apple CEO's delegation made reservations at the restaurant about two weeks ago and stated they primarily wanted to try the egg coffee. This dish was also recently added to the menu by Madam Hien in 2023.

The egg coffee at Madam Hien is sweeter than at some other cafes. The whipped egg layer, which makes up about two-thirds of the cup, blends with the robusta coffee beans from Lam Dong , creating a subtly sweet flavor. To mask the eggy taste, the barista adds rum and honey. Apple CEO Tim Cook lingered for about 25 minutes, enjoying the coffee and chatting with the two artists.

After sampling a signature Vietnamese drink, the Apple CEO took a stroll along Dinh Tien Hoang Street, past the Hanoi Post Office . There, he met with Ngo Duc Duy, a technology content creator.

"I had the chance to meet Apple CEO Tim Cook in person right here in Hanoi . It was a dream morning being welcomed, chatting with him, and strolling around Hoan Kiem Lake with him," Duc Duy expressed his joy on his personal Facebook page.

Reportedly, through this visit, Apple strengthened its commitment to Vietnam, increased spending on suppliers, and made positive progress in its initiative to support clean water for local schools.

Tim Cook and keywords related to his visit to Vietnam are currently topping search rankings on social media platforms. His name is ranked second on Google in Vietnam with over 10,000 searches.

The number of Google searches for egg coffee also surged when he visited the Old Quarter to enjoy it. Currently, the picture of egg coffee that the Apple CEO shared on the X platform has garnered nearly 800,000 views after just 9 hours of being posted.
