Vinhomes Grand Park residential area on Nguyen Xien Street, Long Thanh My Ward, Thu Duc City, (HCMC) is well-known for its artificial beach and 36-hectare Light Park. Recently, the investor has opened additional utility services for residents and visitors in Zone 3, commonly known as the "gold island".
Previously, the area of the hidden gold island was isolated, quite far to walk and had to cross a pedestrian bridge, so there were few visitors. However, since the opening of additional services such as camping, picnicking, boating, tourists and check-in have flocked here quite a lot, especially during holidays.
According to records, during the opening days, many tourists were very excited to visit and sightsee even though the distance from the city center to here was quite far.
The first time visiting the "gold-hiding island", Ms. Ngoc Suong, living in District 7 (HCMC) shared: "This area belongs to HCMC but I have never been there because it is quite isolated, however, if you have time to experience it, it is very interesting. On the island there is a beautiful white sand beach and an artificial stone stream, a pirate ship set in a pirate movie. The scenery is attractive but unfortunately you cannot swim in the sea or the stream, otherwise it would be no different from Nha Trang in the heart of Saigon".
Currently, the park is free for everyone, regardless of residents or visitors, but the services inside are charged. For example, kayaking costs 290,000 VND/2 hours, tent rental costs 490,000 VND/4 hours, table rental costs 250,000 VND/table... However, after May 2, it is no longer free, visitors must buy entrance tickets, but residents here receive a discount of 20 - 50% depending on the service.
Currently, Vinhomes Grand Park urban area is making efforts to close all services. There is an internal electric bus system, electric buses connecting to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, food services on the walking street as well as many modern parks.
