On the morning of September 15, speaking with VietNamNet reporter , Mr. Vuong Van Ung, Chairman of Vinh Lai Commune People's Committee (Lam Thao district) said: The victim was confirmed by authorities and family members as Ms. Nguyen Thi H. (born in 1976, residing in Thach Dong commune, Thanh Thuy district).

The location where Ms. H's body was found is about 10km from Phong Chau bridge.

Ms. H. is one of eight missing victims after the Phong Chau bridge collapse on September 9.

"Last night, the authorities completed the relevant procedures, and by 3am this morning the work was completed and handed over to the victim's family," said Mr. Ung.

Military and police forces continue to search for the remaining victims.

Previously, when the bridge collapsed, Ms. Huong and her husband, Mr. Luong Xuan T., were riding a motorbike with license plate number 19L-310XX and fell into the Red River.

Currently, military and police forces are still trying to search for the remaining victims.
