On the evening of May 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association and Trinh Kim Chi Theater held an opening ceremony at the Theater Arts Training Center on the 1st floor of building 5B Vo Van Tan, Vo Thi Sau ward, District 3.
This will be the place to hold training classes on acting, directing, fashion modeling, etc. for adult and child students.

People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, expressed his emotion when many fellow artists attended the opening ceremony.
"Currently, in Ho Chi Minh City, there are Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts and many other schools that provide formal training. Here, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association only does the job of nurturing talented people who are preparing to enter the professional path and work in theater. We hope to meet the needs of those who have been working but feel they are lacking something. The center will support and train them to further their career" - People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau said.

According to People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau, he wants to convey the knowledge and experience he has gained to young people who love the profession but do not have time to study formally.
"This center also creates conditions for students to both study and work. The theater needs people to study to work, not just to get a degree. The center will also try to train students to equip themselves with knowledge before deciding to take the entrance exam to a regular school," he emphasized.
