Spain became the EURO 2024 champions after a dramatic 2-1 victory over England in the final at the Olympiastadion (Berlin).

Spain have been crowned EURO 2024 champions after a dramatic 2-1 victory over England in the final.
Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal took turns scoring to bring the championship trophy home to the Spanish team.
This achievement helped Spain set a record as the first team in history to win 4 EURO championships.
Spain's result was all the more impressive as the team won all seven of their matches.
Meanwhile, England suffered another bitter defeat when they lost their second consecutive EURO final. Three years ago, the Three Lions also lost to Italy on the field in the final match.
In this match, Nico Williams broke the balance with the opening goal for Spain in the 47th minute after an assist from Lamine Yamal.
