Every young party member does a good deed

Imbued with the viewpoint that "Building a strong Youth Union is an important content of Party building work, which is building the Party one step ahead", in recent times, the Hanoi Youth Union has always paid attention to and focused on training and developing a contingent of young Party members, to supplement new vitality for the Party. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2025) and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), the Hanoi Youth Union organized a ceremony to honor exemplary young Party members of the Capital in 2024.

As one of the 91 outstanding young party members of the capital in 2024, lecturer of Vietnam - Korea Vocational College, Hanoi, Vu Duc Thang (born in 1993) always upholds the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the task of teaching and practicing the profession. After more than 6 years working at the school, his dedication is not only demonstrated through creative practical teaching methods, strong application of digital transformation, but also linking Union activities with expertise, helping students increase internship opportunities and get jobs early. With his own efforts, in 2024, Mr. Thang was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union, Hanoi People's Committee...

Lecturer Vu Duc Thang shared: “As a typical young party member of the capital, I determine that my great responsibility is not only to maintain the title, but also to continue to contribute, spread the pioneering and exemplary spirit in teaching, scientific research and the Youth Union movement”.

In the coming time, Mr. Thang affirmed that he will continue to innovate and improve the quality of teaching, apply digital transformation, nurture excellent students, and train high-quality human resources. At the same time, he will promote the role of the Secretary of the School Youth Union, spread the spirit of young party members as pioneers, inspire the younger generation to follow; organize creative Youth Union programs associated with expertise, help students have an environment to study and practice professional skills; promote specialized volunteer activities, support structural welding for disadvantaged localities, and contribute to community development.

Young Party member Duong Dieu Linh (born in 2003), a final year student at the Academy of Finance, always has the desire to contribute. As Secretary of the Youth Union of class CQ59/09.02CLC, Dieu Linh has applied the model "Journey of 3T: From youth - Achievement - Becoming a Party member" in activities to propagate the Party's ideology. The Youth Union has deployed a propaganda model for members and young people to clearly understand the process and conditions for striving to join the Party. In addition, the Youth Union introduces practical programs and social movements, creating an environment to develop practical skills for members, from which members will be considered for the list of "Outstanding Youth Union members".

In particular, the Youth Union has launched the movement "Youth Union members training - Party members leading" to promptly help union members in the process of striving to join the Party. As a result, in 2024, the Youth Union introduced 3 union members for training, of which 2 were admitted to the Party. The model has been widely replicated, contributing to building a solid source of successor human resources for the Party.

Actively participate in protecting the Party's ideological foundation

Not only are the Youth Union and Association cadres dynamic and creative, among the 91 young party members who were honored, many Youth Union cadres quickly approached technology and became the core, pioneering, and exemplary force leading the fight to protect the Party's ideological foundation.

Also a young party member honored this time, Ms. Hoang Minh Hang (born in 1990), Deputy Secretary of the District Youth Union, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of the district, Vice President of the Thanh Tri District Youth Union Council, is not only an enthusiastic and energetic Youth Union official, but also honored to receive many awards from the central and city levels. She is also known as the administrator of the Facebook pages "Thanh Tri District Youth Union"; "Thanh Tri Young Theory Club"; "Beautiful Thanh Tri". She has maintained this activity regularly since 2018, and has compiled, edited, and edited nearly 2,500 propaganda articles to date. Among these are many articles refuting false arguments in cyberspace and social networks.

“As a Youth Union - Association cadre, and at the same time a young Party member, I personally realize that protecting the Party's ideological foundation is extremely important and urgent in the current period. I always try to research and practice writing news articles, sharing on Facebook, the District Youth Union's fanpage, and the Thanh Tri District news page with timely, accurate, and authentic information, using the good to eliminate the bad; criticizing and speaking out against bad and negative things... Besides, I am always aware of constantly studying and improving my qualifications to be able to contribute to the Capital and the country", Ms. Hang shared.

The stories of Ms. Hang, Mr. Thang, and Linh are vivid evidence of the pioneering spirit and responsibility of young party members today. Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh acknowledged: Outstanding Youth Union cadres and members are party members who have promoted the role of "the Youth Union participating in Party building", contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party.

The 91 exemplary models honored are worthy representatives of the young generation of the Capital "Proud and steadfast in following the Party", inheriting the glorious history of 95 years of construction and development of the Hanoi Party Committee, thereby pioneering and being creative in the new era, the era of national growth.
