This morning, July 1, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference to issue a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Military Party Committee has effectively implemented military and defense tasks, built a comprehensively strong agency and unit "Exemplary, typical" and Party building work. Notably, it has led, directed, advised, thoroughly grasped, and strictly implemented resolutions, directives, and regulations of superiors on military and defense work; directed training and participated in competitions and sports events at all levels with high results.
Participated in the Gameshow “Colors of the Square Star” organized by the Department of Militia and Self-Defense in coordination with the Military Radio and Television Center and won the first prize at the military level; organized, handed over, paid tribute, and buried the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos and in the country in a thoughtful and solemn manner; did a good job of preparing and hosting the “Skillful Civil Affairs” contest at the 4th military region level.
The conference focused on discussing and agreeing on key tasks and some policies and solutions that need to be implemented in the last 6 months of the year such as: Consulting and directing the organization of defense area drills in Con Co island district, flood and storm prevention and search and rescue drills in Cam Lo district on schedule, with absolute safety; successfully organizing the Emulation Congress for Victory of the provincial armed forces for the period 2019 - 2024.
Develop a plan to prepare for participation in the Army Television Festival. Agencies and units ensure good logistics, technical and financial work, pay attention to investing in facilities, and improve soldiers' lives. Continue to build a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres...
Speaking at the conference, Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, noted that in the coming time, the Provincial Military Party Committee will continue to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and People's Council to lead and direct the successful completion of military and defense tasks. Coordinate with the police and border forces, units of Military Region 4, and the Ministry of National Defense to grasp the situation, advise local Party committees and authorities to handle situations well, and avoid being passive or surprised.
In particular, advising local Party committees and authorities in implementing socio-economic development projects associated with national defense and security, ensuring close and appropriate compliance with local conditions; preparing forces, means, and plans to participate in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics, and rescue; training subjects to achieve good results.
Organize drills and participate in competitions and sports events with high results. Improve the quality of regular construction and discipline enforcement; synchronously deploy Party building work, contributing to the successful implementation of military and national defense tasks in 2024.
