(GLO)- On the morning of July 28, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Party Committee held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Military Party Congress (term 2020-2025).

From the beginning of 2020 up to now, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Military Region Command, directly the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, together with the close coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, departments, branches, local Party committees and authorities, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have led the provincial armed forces to perform well the function of advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to comprehensively and effectively lead and direct local defense and military tasks, build defense zones, promptly handle situations, and maintain local political security. The overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces have improved; the work of ensuring logistics, finance, technology, and taking care of the lives, material and spiritual lives of soldiers has become increasingly better; the leadership capacity and combat strength of party organizations have been improved to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. However, there are still some limitations and shortcomings in the work of consulting, proposing, building regulations, managing, educating and maintaining discipline...
At the conference, delegates discussed, analyzed, and evaluated to clarify the causes and limit shortcomings. At the same time, they proposed solutions to effectively perform tasks in the coming time.
Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Tuan Hien highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Provincial Military Party Committee in the past half term. At the same time, he requested Party committees and organizations at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and well implement the 3 breakthroughs, focusing on drastic implementation of measures to overcome existing limitations and shortcomings. Closely link the responsibility and results of overcoming limitations and shortcomings with comments and assessments of the cadre team; determined to make comprehensive changes in all aspects of the provincial military. Review, evaluate and continue to effectively implement the remaining main tasks and targets of the term. Focus on reviewing and preparing personnel for the next term to ensure quality and enhance the responsibility of the cadre team. Detect and resolutely remove from the planning, do not propose to appoint or re-appoint irresponsible cadres, who work half-heartedly, opportunistically, are partial, have weak capacity, and have limited results in performing tasks...
