Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises summarizes the first 6 months of 2024

On the afternoon of July 12, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year; deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Attending the conference were comrade Tran Van Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises.

Conference overview

In the first 6 months of 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; the determination and efforts of all cadres, party members and workers in the entire Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Bloc has led and directed the successful completion of assigned political tasks, thereby contributing to the whole province achieving and exceeding the set targets. In particular, the contingent of cadres and party members in the committees of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial People's Council have done a good job of building and promulgating mechanisms and policies to ensure quality and progress in accordance with the 2024 work program. Timely advising, concretizing and effectively implementing the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, programs and plans of the Central Government.

The Party grassroots organizations in the business units have made great efforts in production and business, achieving positive results. The total revenue of 31 business units in the Bloc is estimated at 28,878.49 billion VND, contributing 556.07 billion VND to the State budget; the units regularly ensure stable jobs for employees, with an average income of 9.94 million VND; basically fulfilling obligations on tax payment, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

Grassroots Party organizations in cultural and social units, hospitals and schools; Party committees and Party cells in judicial and internal affairs agencies; Party committees and Party cells in press agencies, socio-political organizations, professional associations and special associations... have led and directed cadres and Party members to effectively organize many emulation movements and well perform the political tasks of the unit and the industry.

Party building work has achieved many positive results, notably the work of educating, training and developing new party members among students. The whole Bloc has opened 9 classes to foster awareness of the Party for 1,187 outstanding people (exceeding 71.6% of the plan), of which 721 are students; 368 new party members have been admitted, of which 186 are students (reaching 61.33% of the plan).

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc Tran Van Hai acknowledged, commended and congratulated the outstanding results achieved by the Party Committee of the Bloc in the past year, and emphasized: 2024 is a year of special significance, a year of acceleration and breakthrough to reach the finish line, a year playing a key and decisive role in completing the goals and tasks of the 2020-2025 term and the Resolution of the 20th Party Congress of the Bloc, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

To successfully complete the goals and tasks of the last 6 months of the year, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc Tran Van Hai suggested: Party committees and party organizations in agencies, units and enterprises need to focus on leading and directing agencies and units to proactively develop and deploy plans to achieve the highest results in the political goals and tasks of the province, the sector and the unit. In particular, the focus of each party organization and cadre and party member must promote the role of exemplary, creative and proactive pioneering to advise the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and agencies, units and enterprises to successfully implement the resolutions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the sector, especially Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; summary of 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 37 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Thanh Hoa province...

Regarding Party building work, it is necessary to continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education, information, propaganda, and reporter activities. Organize and thoroughly grasp and develop specific plans to implement tasks related to the preparation and organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with Directive No. 35 dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo and the direction and guidance of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. Focus on reviewing, evaluating, and preparing human resources well, ensuring the structure, standards, and procedures according to regulations and guidance of higher-level Party Committees, meeting the requirements of cadre work for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, it is necessary to continue to deploy and synchronously implement innovative solutions to improve the quality of Party committee and Party cell activities. Strengthen the management of cadres and Party members and do a good job of protecting internal politics. Strive to exceed the targets of admitting new Party members assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Implement and complete the inspection and supervision program and plan for 2024; organize a 3-year review of the implementation of Conclusion No. 81-KL/DUK on improving the quality of inspection and supervision work of the Party Committee of the Bloc. Innovate the content and methods, improve the effectiveness of mass organizations' activities, focus on the grassroots level; carry out the work of promoting learning and talent, building a learning society; lead the construction of model agencies and units, and exemplary citizens.
