Cao Bang Provincial Police Party Committee launched a special political activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Police tradition day.

On April 8, the Cao Bang Provincial Police Party Committee held a ceremony to launch a special political activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Police tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Leaders, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police attended the launching ceremony.

At the ceremony, leaders, officers and soldiers were informed and thoroughly grasped the content of the plan to organize a special political activity with the theme " Cao Bang Police practice ethics, practice style, respect honor; solidarity, innovation, set an example, discipline, responsibility, forget oneself for the country, serve the people". Accordingly, the special political activity will take place from March 2025 to March 2026, including 5 contents: Organizing activities on the glorious tradition of the Party, affirming the role and mission of the Party's leadership towards the country, the Party's leadership is the decisive factor in all victories of the People's Public Security; Activities on the tradition of the People's Public Security and the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period; Organize political activities to thoroughly grasp and engrave the advice: "Forget yourself for the country, serve the people", "As long as the Party exists, we exist", "Honor is the most sacred and noble thing" and the motto of action: "When the people need it, when the people are in trouble, there is the Public Security"; Organize self-criticism and criticism, self-identify, prevent, and fight against degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; Organize activities on the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the provincial police leader requested the Party committees and police leaders of all units, especially the heads, to grasp the purpose, requirements, topics, contents, forms, and implementation measures to have a plan suitable to their functions and tasks. Each officer and soldier must grasp and be imbued with the 80-year tradition of building, fighting, and growing of the People's Police force and the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho. In the organization and implementation, there must be a specific division of labor in leadership, direction, inspection, supervision, and evaluation of results in the spirit of 5 clear points: "Clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear time, clear results". Strengthen propaganda work on mass media and social networks in the spirit of "using beauty to eliminate ugliness", "using positivity to push back negativity"; propagate to protect the Party's ideological foundation, fight against and promptly refute hostile and erroneous viewpoints. Proactively detect, replicate, commend and honor in a timely manner collectives and individuals with many good models, effective ways of doing things, courageous and humane actions, ready to accept hardships and sacrifices, forget oneself for the country, serve the people; strictly handle violations. Continue to effectively organize community-oriented activities, mass mobilization, shock, volunteering, supporting and helping people to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.
