The Provincial Border Guard Party Committee issued a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks in 2024.

On November 28, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee held a year-end Party Committee Conference to review and evaluate the results of implementing political tasks, unit building and Party building in 2023; and propose a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks in 2024.

In 2023, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command and the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of border protection tasks, unit building, and Party building, achieving many important results. Notably, the Command and units have proactively grasped, assessed, and accurately forecasted the situation; promptly advised the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee to effectively handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised, and firmly manage and protect national sovereignty, territory, and border security. Closely coordinate with levels, sectors, localities, and forces stationed in the management area, strictly protect the maritime border; resolutely and synchronously implement measures to prevent Vietnamese vessels from violating IUU. Proactively manage, review, and mobilize human resources, ships, and civilian vehicles to participate in the struggle to protect Vietnam's sovereignty and sovereign rights in the sea according to Decree 30/2010/ND-CP and Decree 130/2015/ND-CP of the Government; effectively carry out natural disaster prevention, search and rescue work. Leaders strictly maintain the order and combat readiness regime; grasp and accurately forecast the situation, promptly resolve and ensure political security and social order and safety in the maritime border area (KVBGB). Leaders improve the effectiveness of reconnaissance work, drug and crime prevention work. Leaders in Party and political work activities in tasks with many innovations, creativity, timely, close to the characteristics, situation, tasks, and units, with high efficiency. Effectively carry out "gratitude" activities, regimes and policies for officers, soldiers, and the Army's rear. Advise and coordinate the effective implementation of the "National Border Guard Festival" associated with the Movement "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation"; social security programs: "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard stations", "Border Spring warms the hearts of villagers", "Charity rice jar", "Project for military officers and soldiers to help children go to school"...

Proposing a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks in 2024, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee determined to continue to effectively implement the Party's resolutions, directives, and orders of the Army on Party building and border work. Strengthening the work of grasping, researching, and forecasting the situation, promptly advising the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Border Guard Command Party Committee on policies and countermeasures to handle situations in the border areas, avoiding being passive and surprised. Presiding over and coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, and management forces to firmly protect territorial sovereignty and national border security, building a strong all-people border defense. Resolutely directing the overcoming of weak links and weak aspects, creating a solid shift in building discipline, abiding by discipline and the law. Focusing on building a comprehensively strong Provincial Border Guard "Exemplary model"; Party committees and organizations in the provincial Border Guard are strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, and unit leaders successfully complete assigned tasks.

In addition, successfully lead, direct and organize activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day, the 35th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the People's National Defense Day; proactively and closely coordinate to ensure the maintenance of political security and social order and safety in the province's Border Guard Area during holidays, New Year's and anniversaries, and political events of the country and the province.
