The report at the conference stated: In the first half of the term, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province have always thoroughly grasped the viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party, the State and the Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense tasks and border work tasks. Focusing on leading and directing the comprehensive and synchronous implementation of all aspects of border work, proactively advising and proposing many important policies in the work of building, managing and protecting national sovereignty and border security; effectively preventing and combating all types of crimes and violations of the law; advising and participating in building and consolidating political bases, developing economy, culture and society in border communes. Thereby, promoting the combined strength and building a solid all-people border defense posture, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, harmonious and developing border.

The main directions, tasks and solutions for the remaining period of the 2020-2025 term were identified by the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Party Committee as follows: Continuing to synchronously and comprehensively innovate border work, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting national sovereignty and border security; focusing on building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical", a clean and strong Party organization. Innovating the leadership style and working methods of Party committees and organizations at all levels according to the motto "Speaking briefly, writing concisely, giving correct, accurate, timely and effective advice".
