Before the spring of 1930, our people were still groaning under the domination of French colonialism. As early as 1858, French colonialists opened fire to invade Vietnam. Since 1986, our Party has initiated and led the comprehensive renovation of the country in the direction of socialism with the motto of looking straight at the truth, telling the truth, evaluating the truth, starting with innovation of thinking, innovation of thinking from within the Party to innovation of thinking in the whole society, innovation of action from economic, cultural, social innovation to innovation of national defense and foreign security. From now until the 14th National Congress, we have a lot of work to do, focusing on three main groups of tasks.

However, up to now, in reality, we still face many difficulties and challenges in implementing the goals and targets related to GDP growth rate and quality, and labor productivity increase. Therefore, solutions must focus on rapid and sustainable development.
2025 is not only the decisive year for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, but also the year in which our Party has adopted a number of extremely important strategic policies, with drastic, urgent, methodical and effective implementation, which will be special marks creating the foundation for the acceleration and breakthrough of our country when entering a new era.
These are the investment policies for the North-South high-speed railway project, regional railways, restarting the Ninh Thuan nuclear project and continuing to study the nuclear power development program in Vietnam, implementing steps to establish an international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City, a regional financial center in Da Nang. Promoting the implementation of the national digital transformation revolution, developing science and technology, and innovation.
The second group of tasks is the activities to prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, including two main contents: preparing documents for the Congress and preparing personnel for the Congress.
