On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the Central Youth Union organized a traditional exchange program with the theme "The Party is my reason for living" at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, the origin of the Vietnamese revolution.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association; leaders of Tuyen Quang province, experts, historical witnesses, union members and youth.
Arouse pride in the Party and the Fatherland
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet said that this is a meaningful and practical activity to arouse pride in the Party, the Fatherland, and the nation in each member and youth; at the same time, it demonstrates the determination of Vietnamese youth in following in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers, continuing to write the glorious golden pages of the country's history.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the achievements our country has today are not only the great contributions of previous generations, but also the continuation of the tradition of generations of Vietnamese youth.
From the arduous years of resistance to the challenging period of renovation, Vietnamese youth have always been the vanguard, the vanguard, the pride and trust of the Party and the nation. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has always been the revolutionary vanguard, the Party's trusted reserve force, the place to nurture, train and mature millions of Vietnamese youth. The youth have always demonstrated a passionate patriotism, a strong revolutionary will, not afraid of hardships and sacrifices, and are ready to devote their youth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, the theme "The Party is my reason for living" in today's traditional exchange program is not only a slogan, but also a profound affirmation of the youth's belief and attachment to the Party, our pride and gratitude for the great contributions of the Party, of beloved Uncle Ho and of generations of fathers and brothers.
"We understand that the Party is not only a political organization, but also an ideal, a belief, a sacred way of life. The Party has shown the way for our nation to independence, freedom, and happiness. The Party has brought us a prosperous, peaceful, and developed life. The Party has given us the faith, will, and strength to overcome all difficulties and challenges," said Nguyen Minh Triet.
Determined to act and contribute to building the country
Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet said that 2025 is a year of special significance, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association, the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This year, we will also organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet also said that at the recent 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, General Secretary To Lam entrusted the Party's trust to the young generation of the country.
The Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has unanimously chosen the theme of work in 2025 as "Vietnamese youth are proud and firmly believe in the Party", to affirm that the young generation is always steadfast in following the Party, proud of the great achievements of the country under the Party's leadership.
"The youth of the country are determined to act, contribute to building the country, participate in building and protecting a strong Party, complete the goals set for the year, and implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, together with the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, to firmly bring the country into a new era," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet.

To achieve that goal, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet believes that the role of union members and young people is extremely important. On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union calls on all union members and young people nationwide to continue to deeply understand Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, raise awareness of the Party's leadership role, constantly foster revolutionary ideals, and build strong political will.
