Offering incense to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the death of late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap

Commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the death of the late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (July 6, 1941 - July 6, 2023 lunar calendar), the Party Committee and People of Cam Xuyen district (Ha Tinh) vow to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, determined to build the homeland to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

On the morning of August 21, the Standing Committee of Cam Xuyen District Party Committee offered incense to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the death of late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (July 6, 1941 - July 6, 2023 lunar calendar) at the relic site of late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap in Cam Hung commune, Cam Xuyen district.

Leaders of Cam Xuyen district offered flowers and incense to commemorate the 82nd death anniversary of the late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap.

Comrade Ha Huy Tap was born on April 24, 1906 - August 28, 1941 in a poor patriotic Confucian scholar in Kim Nac village, Tho Ngoa commune (now Cam Hung commune, Cam Xuyen district). He was the General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from 1936 to 1938.

After nearly 16 years of revolutionary activities, including nearly 2 years as General Secretary of the Party, comrade Ha Huy Tap had many policies and decisions, together with the Central Executive Committee, leading our country's revolution to overcome many difficulties and challenges; especially in building policies and restoring the Party organization and mass organizations from the Central to the grassroots level.

On August 28, 1941 (July 6, Tan Ty year) - comrade Ha Huy Tap was executed by the French colonialists. In front of the enemy's guns, he boldly declared: "I have nothing to regret. If I were still alive, I would continue my activities."

The revolutionary career of comrade Ha Huy Tap left a shining example of an excellent leader, a loyal communist soldier, who fought and sacrificed his whole life for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness and prosperity of the people.

In the solemn atmosphere commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the death of the late General Secretary Ha Huy Tap, the leaders of Cam Xuyen district and delegates expressed their respect and deep gratitude for the late General Secretary's great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

The delegation pledged that the Party Committee and the people of the district will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, consolidate the great solidarity, join hands and strive to contribute to building the homeland to be more and more prosperous and civilized.
