On the morning of August 28, the Party Committee of Dong Hoang commune, Dong Son district held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the traditional day of the Party Committee of the commune (September 2, 1954 - September 2, 2024).
Many generations of cadres, party members and people attended the celebration.
At the ceremony, delegates and generations of cadres, party members and people together reviewed the 70-year tradition of establishment, growth and development of the Commune Party Committee.
Faced with the need for a Party organization to lead the revolutionary movement, on September 2, 1954, at Hoc Thuong communal house, the first Communist Party cell of Dong Hoang commune was established and held its first Congress, consisting of 36 party members, operating in 5 party cells.
In August 1960, Dong Hoang Party Cell was decided by Dong Son District Party Committee to establish the Commune Party Committee. From the first Party Cell with 36 members, through 28 congresses, Dong Hoang Commune Party Cell has grown steadily in both quantity and quality. To date, the Commune Party Cell has 383 members, operating in 11 subordinate Party Cells.

In 2016, the commune was recognized as meeting new rural standards (NTM). Not stopping there, the commune continued to mobilize people, calling for resources to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria, as a stepping stone to build advanced NTM, model NTM. From 2020 to now, the whole commune has mobilized over 430 billion VND for investment and development. Dong Hoang people voluntarily donated more than 22,400m2 of land, contributed more than 3,900 working days to build NTM. To date, Dong Hoang has achieved 14/19 criteria for advanced NTM commune, 11/15 criteria for model NTM commune; 5/6 villages have been recognized as model NTM villages.
The commune currently has 30 enterprises, 1 cooperative growing and processing environmentally friendly medicinal plants owned by women, 364 individual business households and effective commercial services. Typically, the Sao Khue Processing Factory and Trading Joint Stock Company has been successful in producing and trading 13 product lines to serve diverse consumer needs. The company maintains a safe rice supply chain, many rice products have been recognized as OCOP products of the province and other titles such as Vietnam Agricultural Golden Brand; Typical products and goods of Thanh Hoa province.
Party building work is given importance in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics. Methods of leadership, direction, administration and task implementation continue to be innovated; government activities are increasingly effective and efficient; the position and role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are enhanced; the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party and the cause of innovation continues to be affirmed.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Thanh Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Son District People's Council, praised the achievements of the Dong Hoang Commune Party Committee over the past 70 years. At the same time, he requested the Dong Hoang Commune Party Committee to continue to focus on leadership, direction and have specific solutions to well perform the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the area, striving to complete the assigned targets in 2024 and the entire 2020-2025 term.

At the ceremony, the Party Executive Committee of Dong Son district presented the Party Committee and People of Dong Hoang commune with a banner with the content: "Promoting the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation, building Dong Hoang into a model unit".
On this occasion, Dong Hoang commune launched an emulation movement to successfully implement the goals and tasks for the 2024-2025 period.
