In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Military Institute of Preventive Medicine has led the unit to comprehensively implement the set goals and targets. Notably, it has successfully and excellently completed the tasks of monitoring the prevention and control of Covid-19, meningococcal disease, dengue fever, etc.; monitoring HIV-drugs; food safety and nutrition; military labor medicine - occupational diseases; malaria, parasites; scientific research and international cooperation... The discipline, regular construction regime, and discipline training in the unit have tended to develop well; the ideological and political situation in the unit is stable.

During the last term, the Military Preventive Medicine Institute was awarded two Third-class Labor Medals by the State; the General Department of Logistics (now the General Department of Logistics and Engineering) was continuously awarded the Emulation Flag and the title of Determined-to-Win Unit. In addition to the achievements, the Congress also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations that still exist, found the causes, and from there, determined the direction, goals, tasks, breakthroughs and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

The congress discussed and developed directions, goals, tasks and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, it listened to many enthusiastic opinions and contributions to the Draft Documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the Draft Political Report of the Party Committee of the Military Medical Department. The opinions were of high quality, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and seriousness of the party members attending the congress.

During the 2025-2030 term, the congress unanimously resolved to carry out breakthroughs: Building a regular, modern Military Preventive Medicine Institute, focusing on building a number of key specialties: Epidemiology, microbiology, occupational medicine... to move straight to modernity; improving the quality of training and direction, focusing on training for military medical units to meet mission requirements; focusing on thoroughly overcoming shortcomings and limitations, continuing administrative reform, digital transformation, applying science and technology to disease management, prevention and control.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Institute of Preventive Medicine for the 2025-2030 term and the Delegation attending the Congress of the Party Committee of the Military Medical Department introduced themselves to the congress .

In a democratic and open atmosphere, the congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the Institute for the 2025-2030 term and elected the Delegation to attend the 17th Congress of the Party Committee of the Military Medical Department for the 2025-2030 term with a high number of votes of confidence.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Tran Cong Truong, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Military Medical Department, highly appreciated the efforts of the entire Party Committee of the Military Institute of Preventive Medicine during the past term.

Propose that the Party Committee, commanders, cadres and party members in the Institute regularly grasp and strictly implement directives, resolutions and instructions from above, and the political tasks of the Institute. Build solidarity and unity in the Party Committee, commanders and the entire unit. Attach importance to building strong Party committees and organizations in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics; promote the role of agencies in advising leaders and commanders on all aspects of work. Determined to build a strong and clean Party Committee, a comprehensively strong Military Preventive Medicine Institute, a "typical model", moving straight towards modernization.
