In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Regiment 551 has thoroughly grasped the resolutions and directives of superiors, leading the unit to well perform the tasks of training, combat readiness, and observing and detecting targets. From 2020 to present, the Regiment has observed and detected more than 1 million vehicles operating at sea and in the air; promptly reported to superiors and directed targets for coordinated forces to successfully handle all situations, avoiding being passive or surprised.

In the coming term, the Party Committee of Regiment 551 will focus on building a unit that is strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres. Strictly maintain the forces and equipment on duty at all levels, especially the teams and combat shifts at radar stations and the Regiment's command post. Organize observation and firmly grasp the means operating within the unit's management area, not to make mistakes, miss or miss targets, together with the forces to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the Southwest of the Fatherland.

At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to and ensure good material and spiritual life for officers and soldiers, especially those stationed in high mountains and remote islands, so that the soldiers can work with peace of mind, stick together to build the unit, and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Regiment 551 for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 13th Congress of the Party Committee of Naval Region 5, consisting of 16 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.

At the first conference, the Party Executive Committee of Regiment 551 elected the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Party Secretary, Deputy Party Secretary, Party Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee with a high number of votes of confidence.
