Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee (Bim Son Town) celebrates 40th anniversary of its establishment

On the morning of August 30, the Party Committee of Ba Dinh Ward (Bim Son Town) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary (August 30, 1984 - August 30, 2024). At the ceremony, delegates and generations of cadres, party members, and people of Ba Dinh Ward reviewed the tradition of the 40th anniversary of the Party Committee of the Ward.

On August 30, 1984, Ba Dinh Ward Branch - the predecessor of Ba Dinh Ward Party Committee, was established with 4 party members. In 1986, the Branch was upgraded to a Party Committee with 48 party members operating in 6 branches. After 40 years of construction and development, the Ward Party Committee has grown steadily. To date, the Ward Party Committee has 625 party members operating in 17 branches. Throughout its development, the Ward Party Committee has always been courageous, responsible, concerned, curious, creative, and proposed appropriate policies, solutions and roadmaps to build Ba Dinh Ward to develop comprehensively in all fields. In recent years, the ward has made breakthroughs and achieved many proud achievements, worthy of being the political, economic, cultural and social center of Bim Son town.

In terms of economy, the ward has promoted its potential and strengths, and shifted its economic structure in a positive direction. Up to now, the proportion of trade and services accounts for 51.27%; industry - construction accounts for 48.26% and agriculture - forestry accounts for 0.47%; State budget revenue in the area increases by an average of 5% annually. Management of planning, land, construction, mineral resources and environmental sanitation has been strengthened; the economic - social infrastructure system has been invested and upgraded.

Culture and society have many progressive changes; social security is ensured, primary health care for the people has been improved. Schools and health stations all meet national standards; 100% of residential areas have cultural houses, the poverty rate according to multidimensional criteria has decreased to 0.39%, people's lives have been improved, and the urban appearance has many changes. Along with that, political security, social order and safety are ensured, and military and national defense work is strengthened.

Party building work is given importance in terms of politics, ideology and organization; the leadership method of the Party Committee is innovated in the direction of focus, key points and drasticness; the effectiveness and efficiency of management and administration of the government are improved. The Fatherland Front and political organizations have many innovations in the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, promoting the role of the people in realizing the goals of socio-economic development, Party building and building a clean and strong government.

With the achievements, the Party Committee, government and people of Ba Dinh Ward were honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and the State, such as: The President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal, Third Class Labor Medal, 2 Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 4 Emulation Flags and 23 Certificates of Merit from the Central Ministries and Branches, and many other awards from the province and town. The Party Committee has been clean and strong for many years, and in the period of 2009 - 2011, it was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
