Brigade 127 Party Committee successfully organized the Congress for the 2025-2030 term

On March 23 and 24, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Party Committee of Brigade 127, Naval Region 5 Command held the 16th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is the grassroots Party Committee chosen by the Standing Committee of the Naval Region 5 Party Committee to be the first to gain experience in the entire Region.

Attending and directing the congress were Colonel Trinh Xuan Tung, member of the Party Committee of the Navy, Commander of Naval Region 5; Colonel Ngo Van Thanh, Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of Naval Region 5. Also attending were Lieutenant Colonel Mai Dang Danh, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Naval Region 5; representatives of the leaders of party organizations under the Naval Region 5 Party Committee and 100 delegates from the Brigade 127 Party Committee.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Brigade 127 has thoroughly grasped the directives and resolutions of the superiors, leading the unit to successfully carry out the assigned tasks. In particular, many tasks were completed excellently such as: training, combat readiness, defense diplomacy, patrolling, reconnaissance, and maritime management posts. Doing a good job in search and rescue, preventing illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. Organizing live-fire drills and tests, achieving 100% good and excellent results, ensuring absolute safety.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Brigade has carried out Party work, political work, logistics and technical work comprehensively, synchronously, closely, with quality and efficiency, ensuring good performance for regular and ad hoc tasks. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations in the unit have been constantly improved. The contingent of cadres and Party members has a steadfast and firm political stance, is not shaken by difficulties and challenges, and actively strives to study, cultivate, train, work and successfully fulfill assigned duties and tasks.

In the coming term, the Party Committee of Brigade 127 will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the resolutions of the Party Committees at all levels. Focus on building a clean and strong Party Committee, a comprehensively strong, exemplary and typical unit. In particular, focus on improving the quality of training, exercises, qualifications and combat readiness; ensure synchronous and timely logistics, technical and financial work for tasks; grasp the situation of the region and locality, closely coordinate and cooperate with forces to firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

At the congress, delegates discussed and contributed many enthusiastic, responsible and highly constructive opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress; the draft political report of the 13th Congress of the Party Committee of Naval Region 5 and the political report of the Party Committee of Brigade 127 submitted to the congress.

With the spirit of democracy, solidarity and unity, the Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of Brigade 127 for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 13th Congress of the Party Committee of Naval Region 5, consisting of 25 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates.

At the first conference, the Party Executive Committee of Brigade 127 elected the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Party Secretary, Deputy Party Secretary and Party Inspection Committee with a high number of votes of confidence.

Colonel Ngo Van Thanh and Lieutenant Colonel Mai Dang Danh presented flowers to congratulate the new term Party Executive Committee of Brigade 127 and the delegation attending the higher-level congress.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Trinh Xuan Tung acknowledged, praised and congratulated the achievements of the Party Committee of Brigade 127 during the past term. At the same time, he emphasized: The Party Committee of the Brigade needs to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the policies, guidelines and viewpoints of the Party and State. Focus on leading the improvement of the quality of political education, training and combat readiness; grasp, assess and evaluate the situation correctly, promptly advise the Party Committee and the Regional Command to successfully handle all situations, not to be passive or surprised.

The Regional Commander noted that the Brigade Party Committee should focus on building a strong unit in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; uphold the principle of democratic centralism, promote self-criticism and criticism; strengthen the building of a regular system, discipline management and safety assurance; pay attention to building a team of cadres and party members with comprehensive capacity, good moral qualities, lifestyle, working methods and style, truly pioneering, exemplary, responsible, confident in attachment, dedication to building the unit, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.
