Thai Nguyen Central Hospital Party Committee: Leaders exceeded many targets

In 2024, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the collective of cadres, doctors, and employees of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital united, unified, and excellently completed the assigned political tasks and planning targets.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Hoang, Party Secretary and Hospital Director, awarded prizes to party members who excellently completed their tasks in 2024.

During the year, the Hospital Party Committee admitted 37 new members (102% higher than the Resolution), bringing the total number of Party members to 743 comrades, operating in 50 affiliated Party cells. The activities of the Party cells were maintained regularly, constantly improving the quality and innovating the way of working.

In professional work, the Hospital Party Committee has led and directed the completion and over-fulfillment of medical examination and treatment targets. Compared to 2023, inpatient and outpatient treatment results increased from 4-17.7%; the average treatment day decreased from 7.8 days to 7 days; the bed utilization rate compared to actual beds exceeded 12.3%; periodic health check-ups exceeded 45%; testing activities increased from 6-18%.

In 2024, the Hospital deployed 203 new technical services and proposed health insurance (HI) payment for 128 new technical services for HI patients. The Hospital's quality score reached 4.22 points.

In Decision No. 56/QD-BYT dated January 6, 2025, the Ministry of Health adjusted the Hospital's operating license to increase the number of beds by 400 (from 1,300 to 1,700 planned beds, 2,050 actual beds); The Hospital is the only medical facility in the province and the Northern Midlands and Mountains region that is qualified to be classified as a specialized hospital...

With the results achieved in leadership and direction of professional tasks, in 2024, the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital was classified as "Party Committee that excellently completed its tasks"; 10 Party cells and 135 Party members were classified as "Excellently completed its tasks"; no Party cells or Party members were disciplined for violations...

In 2025, the Hospital Party Committee is determined to well implement the resolutions of the Party and the superior Party Committee; well prepare for the 17th Hospital Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
