According to the reporter's records, in Son Tan commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province, the durian gardens of the people are growing very well, many gardens have now begun to harvest to sell to traders.

According to local farmers, many years ago, they mainly grew beans and corn, so their income was not high. Recently, they have switched to high-value crops such as Australian mango, Tu Quy and durian, which are yielding sweet fruits.
According to durian growers, every year the price of durian fluctuates between 40,000 - 50,000 VND/kg, however this year the price of durian purchased at the garden is from 79,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, with this price farmers will definitely make a profit.

Through the introduction of the local people, we went to the garden of Mr. Bui Bong's family (Son Tan commune). He said that last year his family harvested only about 3 tons and sold it for 45,000 VND/kg.

He said that this year, with an area of 20 hectares, only 6 hectares are currently yielding fruit. Thanks to favorable weather, this year the fruit yield is better. This season, Mr. Bui Bong's family is harvesting and selling to traders. The current selling price ranges from 79,000 - 80,000 VND/kg, estimated at about 20 tons. With this selling price, Mr. Bong's family will make a profit.
