World pickleball stars land in Vietnam

Many world pickleball stars are in Vietnam.

This international friendly tournament, taking place at the Pickleball D-Joy Thu Thiem (Saigon Riverside Park, Thu Duc City) and South Saigon (District 7), officially put Vietnam on the world pickleball map.

The event brought together a "giant" lineup of international pickleball players, who came to Vietnam for the first time, bringing eye-catching and professional performances. The highlight of the event was the presence of Andrei Daescu, the world's No. 1 doubles player, along with members of the famous Phoenix Flames team such as Tyson McGuffin (formerly ranked No. 6 in the world), Jack Sock, Genie Bouchard, Jessie Irvine, Pesa Teoni, Alex Walker, and many other names.

In addition, the Bay Area Breakers and Columbus Sliders also sent their outstanding athletes such as Alix Truong, Danna Funaro, and DJ Young to compete.

Phoenix Flames dedicated to Vietnamese audiences top-notch matches, demonstrating the spirit of a warm yet fierce "welcome" game. With technical, fast and emotional playing style, the appearance of top athletes has brought strong inspiration, creating momentum for the pickleball movement in Vietnam.

The "Rise With The Flames" event series does not stop at the exciting friendly matches between international tennis players and Vietnamese athletes. Before that, world stars had a journey to explore famous landscapes of Vietnam, from Hanoi, Trang An (Ninh Binh), Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) to Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the world.

During the last two days of competition in Ho Chi Minh City, fans had the opportunity to witness live fierce competitions and interact and meet pickleball superstars. The event "Rise With The Flames" ended not only with beautiful memories of an exciting international sports tournament, but also opened a new promising chapter for the development of pickleball in Vietnam.
