Notably, MAXFC 26 is also the first international kickboxing event to take place in Vietnam. The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Boxer Training Company (Cocky Buffalo). This is a series of prestigious and reputable kickboxing events, originating from Korea. In the past, the tournament has produced many famous boxers in the world.
MAXFC 26 will feature 8 pairs of 16 fighters from countries and territories such as Japan, China, Korea, Australia, and Taiwan. Vietnam, as the host country, will also have 4 famous kickboxers participating. This event promises to be a great opportunity for Vietnamese fighters to compete and gain experience before competing at the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Thailand in November.
MAXFC 26 brings together many famous fighters
Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy - a Dao ethnic girl who just won a gold medal at the 32nd SEA Games in the Khmer kun event certainly received a lot of attention. She is participating in the only female match at this event. Phuong Thuy competes in the 52 kg weight class and her expected opponent is boxer Choi Eun-ji. The Korean boxer has had 16 professional fights, including 7 wins and promises to be a big challenge for Phuong Thuy.

In the men's category, all three matches of Vietnamese boxers were considered worth watching. In the 54 kg weight class, Vietnamese kickboxing star Huynh Van Tuan faced off against young Japanese boxer Yo Toguchi. In the past, Huynh Van Tuan won 6 national championships, 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the SEA Games, along with countless other impressive achievements.

In the 64 kg weight class, SEA Games 32 gold medalist Nguyen Xuan Phuong will face Kwon Gi-seop (Korea). Compared to Nguyen Xuan Phuong, Kwon Gi-seop has a better physique and has won 16 out of 20 professional matches. Although Xuan Phuong has always shown his position in kickboxing in Vietnam, he will certainly face a big challenge.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Quang Huy is the remaining Vietnamese boxer competing at MAXFC 26. Quang Huy competes in the 60 kg weight class and meets Park Jae-won (Korea).

In addition to the Vietnamese boxers, the remaining four matches promise to be very dramatic. In the 75 kg weight class, Kim Joon-hwa will face Mu Wei Wen (Taiwan). In the 67 kg weight class, Er Kang (China) will compete with the undefeated Australian boxer - Cassidy Haberfield. In the heaviest weight class of the tournament, 90 kg, Jang Bum-seok (Korea) will face Nick Atkins (Australia). In the remaining 65 kg weight class, Miao Aoqi (China) will face Kin Chan (Korea).
