The applause was endless as conductor Tran Nhat Minh led the international artists to play symphonies adapted from Vietnamese folk songs such as Ra ngo vao trong, Se chi lon kim, Trong com . Music lovers were taken through many emotional ranges, sometimes deep with quan ho melodies, sometimes explosive with sounds with the colors of the Northwest such as Phien cho vung cao, Dieu vu.
In addition to the performances using folk materials, talented conductor Tran Nhat Minh also impressed with the introductions to The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, and Norma by Vincenzo Bellini - two great Italian composers.

Conductor Tran Nhat Minh said that when he accepted the invitation of artist Bui Cong Duy - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, he immediately arranged his time to have four practice sessions with the World Youth Symphony Orchestra. "Everything happened naturally, everything was in harmony, because music is the best connection. This is a precious opportunity, an important milestone in my life" - Tran Nhat Minh shared.
In the second part of the program, conductor Damiano Giuranna and the World Youth Symphony Orchestra made a strong impression with the works Symphony No.5 in E minor Op.64; Andante - Allegro con anima - Molto più traiquillo; Andante Cantabile, con alcuna licenza; Valse. Watching the program, Mr. Honna Tetsuji - the main conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra expressed: "The performance is a great opportunity for friends from many countries to enjoy music and learn about Vietnamese culture. Conductor Dong Quang Vinh affirmed that this is a good opportunity for young students to practice and improve their professional skills, practical experience, aesthetic ability and team spirit. It is known that after the performance at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the World Youth Symphony Orchestra will perform the Gala “ Opera Puccini” on April 10. Conductor Damiano Giuranna and his students will perform to honor the Italian composer Puccini (1858 - 1924).
The World Youth Symphony Orchestra's tour in Hanoi is part of the project "Sounds of Brotherhood", in collaboration with the Vietnam National Academy of Music, initiated by artist Bui Cong Duy.
The World Youth Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2001 by Italian conductor Damiano Giuranna with the aim of building a cultural diplomacy project and spreading music. In 23 years, the organization has welcomed more than 2,000 artists from many countries. The orchestra has built a support fund and held music workshops in remote areas of many countries, aiming to find solutions to help children access art in difficult circumstances. The orchestra was nominated by UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador and received a medal of honor from the Italian leader.
