Beauties attend contest for doctors

On the evening of April 9, the final round of the Miss HYPA 2024 Young Physician Beauty contest officially took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 30 contestants participating in the final round are doctors, medical staff working at hospitals, medical facilities or students of medical universities, pharmaceutical universities, and medical colleges in Ho Chi Minh City... The beauty contest for young doctors aims to honor the beauty of women in the medical field and Vietnamese women.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the final night, Dr. Phan Minh Hoang, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Doctors Association, shared: "The image of young doctors associated with the people is the image of good doctors, solid medical ethics and always smiling warmly at the people. Young doctors in Ho Chi Minh City constantly strive to improve medical ethics, improve their expertise, creating a solid solidarity to together repel all epidemics."

The Young Doctors Beauty Contest is not only a playground for women in the medical industry to shine, but also a journey to share professional knowledge, equip life skills and carry out volunteer activities for the community.

The final night included special competitions such as calling out names and wearing hospital uniforms, a costume competition with unique designs that reflect the culture and characteristics of each unit, ao dai performance and behavioral competition.

The contest results showed that the beauty queen position belonged to contestant Pham Thi Thu Dong from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, and the first runner-up position belonged to contestant Tran Thanh Ngan from Ho Chi Minh City Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology.

The second runner-up of the contest was contestant Le Thi Phuong Thao from Cho Ray Hospital, the third runner-up was contestant Le Thi Kim Anh from Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital and the fourth runner-up was contestant Ly Quynh Nga from Medcare Dermatology Clinic.
