A 'trillion Dollar' Mentor Team Nurtures a Generation of Young Creative Leaders

Young Entrepreneurs CYE 2024 organized by JCI Vietnam officially launched on September 23. This is an opportunity for the young Vietnamese business community to access in-depth knowledge, receive advice from leading experts and expand their valuable network of connections.

The contestants include business owners or board members, aged 18 - 40, belonging to JCI Vietnam. To participate in CYE 2024, business owners must have been operating for more than 3 months and less than 3 years, with products or services that have been and are being consumed in the market.

The program "Young Creative Entrepreneurs - JCI Vietnam" brings together many leading consultants from across the country.

This year, the mentors and judges are all people who are running businesses worth over 1,000 billion. Sharing with the media about the significance of this competition, Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao - President of JCI Vietnam said that this is a global competition organized by JCI every year. Each country will organize a competition to select candidates to participate in the continental round, then the best candidates will compete at the global level. As the name of the Creative Young Entrepreneur competition suggests, the main target is young entrepreneurs at the creative age.

CYE organized by JCI brings many breakthrough solutions to young businesses.

At this playground, young entrepreneurs share creative and bold business ideas and receive feedback from experts to perfect their business models.

JCI Vietnam’s organization of the Creative Young Entrepreneur 2024 competition aims to elevate entrepreneurs, whether they are members or not of JCI. The focus of the competition is not only on the competition between contestants, but also on the mentoring and coaching rounds, where entrepreneurs receive useful knowledge and feedback from experts to increase the competitiveness of their business models.

According to Ms. Thao, currently, the trend of digital transformation and green transformation is very strong in the development flow of enterprises. The highest level of digital transformation and green transformation in a sustainable business model is when they are integrated into the core pillars of the enterprise, inseparable.

“ During the process of experts organizing training sessions, mentoring, coaching, as well as in the final round when the judges evaluate the candidates, factors of digital transformation and green transformation will be integrated. This will be demonstrated through advice, opinions, and questions assessing the creativity and sharpness of the business model,” said the Chairman of JCI Vietnam.

She added that young entrepreneurs, young officials and young managers trained through the JCI environment will develop practical leadership skills, making practical contributions to the individual businesses or organizations they work for. This is the greatest contribution of JCI in general and JCI Vietnam in particular to the business community in Vietnam.
