People in Cu Kuin district have returned to their daily lives 3 days after a group of people armed with guns and knives attacked the headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes (early morning of June 11).
Along the road connecting the commune center to the villages, people return to their daily work.
"For the past two days, my family had to put aside work in the garden. When we heard that the police had caught the criminals and received encouragement and propaganda from the local government, I and the villagers felt secure to return to work," said a resident of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district.
Shops are open and traffic is back to normal.
The barber shop, located a few hundred meters from the Ea Ktur Commune People's Committee, has reopened after two days of being closed. "The situation has been controlled by the authorities so I feel secure in reopening," said Huy, the barber shop owner.
"When the attack on the commune headquarters happened on June 11, everyone and I were very confused and scared. In the past few days, my family hardly left the house. I kept up to date with information on media channels and newspapers, so as soon as we saw the situation stabilized, we felt secure to return to work and production," said Nguyen Phuoc Tuan Anh (K'niet village).
After 3 days of the incident, with the determination of the provincial authorities, the district and commune authorities were on duty day and night, making efforts to hunt down and arrest the troublemakers, bringing life in the villages and hamlets in the two communes of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur (Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province) back to normal soon.
"According to the report of Dak Lak Provincial Police, the security and order situation in the whole province has returned to normal, and there are no changes in regular social activities. Daily life has returned to the same atmosphere as before June 11," Lieutenant General To An Xo informed.
