People suffer because provincial roads in Bac Kan are like "plowed fields"

Báo Giao thôngBáo Giao thông15/11/2024

A series of potholes, deep ditches and ditches are scattered on Provincial Road 257B from Phuong Vien Commune to Bang Phuc Commune, Cho Don District...

Mr. Hoang Van Thai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bang Phuc Commune, Cho Don District, said that due to the construction of the Bac Kan city road to Ba Be Lake through Bang Phuc Commune (Cho Don District) and Dong Phuc and Quang Khe Communes (Ba Be District), the vehicles carrying materials mainly travel on Road 257B, causing the road to deteriorate rapidly. Voters of Phuong Vien and Bang Phuc Communes have had many comments, and the locality has also sent opinions to the district to request the investor (Bac Kan Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board) to take remedial measures. "Currently, Provincial Road 257B is not only difficult to travel but also has the potential risk of traffic accidents and traffic jams. In the past, the construction unit only dumped soil into potholes but did not level or roll them, which still caused many difficulties in traveling, making people upset. When the vehicles carrying materials passed, the soil and rocks fell along the road, causing dust to cover the lives of the people," Mr. Thai added.
