The firing time is fast, about a minute. The bullets used in the official ceremony use a propellant that burns quickly, burns cleanly, and produces little white smoke instead of black smoke when fired.

When the artillery firing practice ended, many locals and tourists enjoyed taking pictures. The artillery site was always guarded by soldiers, and locals were not allowed to enter but were free to visit outside the red fence.

Soldiers conduct training exercises in the afternoon of the same day.

From April 8 until the parade, the artillery team will practice daily, mainly with shells that do not contain gunpowder. On April 18 and 22, the artillery team will practice with the military band and the signal force.

According to the plan, the 50th Anniversary of National Reunification Day will include a military parade with about 13,000 people, firing 21 cannon shots to the Vietnamese National Anthem. The air force will use helicopters, Yak-130, Su-30MK2 to fly the welcome.
