Dam Rong: More than 6,500 hectares apply advanced irrigation technology to save water

Through the survey, in Dam Rong district, there is a total of 6,505.5 hectares of various crops applying advanced irrigation technology to save water. In particular, the sprinkler irrigation solution on crops such as: coffee (4,405 hectares); fruit trees (1,550 hectares); vegetables (220 hectares); mulberry (65 hectares); macadamia (30 hectares).

Next, drip irrigation solution for vegetable area (175 ha); flower plants (24 ha). In addition, there are 36.5 ha of vegetable area with water-saving irrigation cultivated in net houses and greenhouses.

It is known that the whole Dam Rong district currently has a total area of ​​19,642 hectares of upland crops. Specifically, including: 12,586 hectares of coffee, 3,870 hectares of fruit trees, 1,662 hectares of macadamia, 900 hectares of mulberry, 600 hectares of vegetables, and 24 hectares of flowers.
