If you travel from April to August, Cuc Phuong forest is not only an ideal place to escape the heat but also attracts tourists with its magical butterfly and firefly season. To hunt for butterflies, tourists should go early, to watch fireflies, they need to stay overnight in houses or camp in the center of the national park.

The cost of accommodation for tourists in Cuc Phuong forest ranges from 100,000 to 800,000 VND/night depending on the type of dormitory or high-class single room. If you do not stay in the national park, you can also find homestays about 1-3km from the park gate for convenience.
