Dam Ha: Striving for per capita income to reach 4,350 USD in 2024

During the 2 days of July 16-17, with the spirit of scientific, serious, democratic work, frank exchange, discussion, and questioning with a high sense of responsibility, the 22nd Session of the People's Council of Dam Ha district, term V, completed all the contents of the proposed program, passing 14 resolutions with high consensus and unanimity from the delegates of the People's Council of the district.

Comrade Do Thi Ninh Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, gave a speech at the meeting.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the socio-economic situation in the district achieved positive results: Production value in 3 fields is estimated at 4,559 billion VND; total circulation of goods and service revenue reached 1,492 billion VND; number of visitors to the district reached 36,300. The district has actively coordinated with the investor, SHINEC Joint Stock Company, to implement steps to develop the infrastructure of the Eastern Industrial Cluster of Dam Ha B. Focus on developing culture, people, ensuring social security and fairness, progress; improve the quality of people's lives.

At the meeting, delegates spent a lot of time discussing in groups and in the hall, questioning and answering questions about issues that voters and people are interested in such as: Budget collection; progress of sea area allocation, approval and disbursement of capital to support production development, improving the quality of education and training, etc.

Dam Ha District People's Council voted to pass 14 resolutions, striving to Economic growth rate in 2024 reaches 18.2% or more; average income per capita in 2024 reaches about 4,350 USD ; budget revenue in the area meets the plan assigned by the province; strives for budget revenue growth rate to reach the target set by the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term ; total average social investment capital increases by 18.4%/year or more.
