'Weddings on the sand dunes' are bustling this Valentine's Day.

The story revolves around single people facing pressure to get married from their families and society. To escape a hasty arranged marriage, Lụa (played by Meritorious Artist Kim Tuyến) decides to sign up for a trip . However, this trip is far from smooth, as it brings together single travelers of all nationalities and races, leading to a series of hilarious and awkward situations on a deserted island.

From initial conflicts stemming from cultural and personality differences, they gradually find common ground in their loneliness and personal struggles. In particular, Tony Dang (played by Quach Ngoc Tuyen), a Vietnamese expatriate, unexpectedly becomes Lua's lover through a chance encounter. The seemingly deserted island, a place of refuge, turns into a matchmaker, bringing together these cheerful and endearing couples.

The play "Wedding on the Sand Dunes" has a simple, lighthearted plot, focusing on charmingly humorous situations. Most impressive is artist Huu Nghia's portrayal of Mr. Giau, a wealthy gold shop owner who likes to show off his riches but is also kind and generous, delivering his comedic lines naturally and playfully. Conversely, artist Quoc Thao's portrayal of Mr. Nam, a somewhat grumpy old man from the Mekong Delta, is characterized by his slow, deliberate delivery of lines that are subtly charming. Truong Phuc, despite being a young actor, has proven his talent in the role of Mr. Bay, showcasing his unique makeup and voice, creating a memorable character that contributes significantly to the play's comedic elements.

The lead actors, Quách Ngọc Tuyên and Kim Tuyến, are familiar film actors who, now participating in the stage, bring a natural, unforced acting style that deeply resonates with the audience.
