As the only petroleum trading enterprise in the province, Anh Phat Petro Joint Stock Company currently has nearly 300 petroleum retail agents and stores nationwide, of which nearly 100 are in Thanh Hoa. To ensure the supply of gasoline and oil for the company's sales system during the Lunar New Year 2025, the company has imported and stored more than 20% more gasoline and oil than the same period last year for distribution to stores. At the same time, it has strengthened control over the system of stores as well as checked inventory to ensure normal operations, without interruption of supply...
To meet the consumption needs of the people, 100% of the staff of the company's affiliated gas stations must sell on all Tet holidays. On the 30th of Tet, sales will only be until 9:00 p.m. and on the 1st of Tet, sales will start from 8:00 a.m. For the central wards in Thanh Hoa City, the company's retail stores will be open almost 24/7. In addition, the company will encourage its affiliated gas stations to increase sales to serve and meet the maximum needs of customers.
Thanh Hoa Petroleum Company is a member of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and is currently supplying gasoline and oil to 81 affiliated retail stores and 33 gasoline and oil stores of authorized retailers. The company's imported gasoline and oil sources are taken from warehouses (Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Warehouse - Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant; Nghi Huong, Ben Thuy Warehouse - Nghe An Petroleum Company; K135 Warehouse - Ha Nam Petroleum Company). To better serve the demand for gasoline and oil during this Tet holiday, in addition to importing and reserving gasoline and oil with an increase of 10 - 15%, the company has developed a plan to serve consumers. Accordingly, the company's affiliated gasoline and oil retail stores will arrange enough human resources, organize on-call duty or overtime to maintain regular and continuous sales on all days, including the 30th, 1st and 2nd of Tet. Particularly, retail stores located in central locations in Thanh Hoa City will be open 24/7.
Deputy Head of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) Do Gia Vinh said: There are currently 346 enterprises trading in gasoline and oil in the area. Of which, 1 enterprise is a key petroleum trading enterprise (Anh Phat Petro Joint Stock Company), 3 enterprises are subsidiaries of key traders operating under authorization (Thanh Hoa Petroleum Company (Petrolimex), Thanh Hoa Petroleum and Gas Joint Stock Company and Mien Nui Group Joint Stock Company), 6 petroleum distribution enterprises and 336 petroleum retail enterprises with 604 petroleum stations certified by the Department of Industry and Trade as qualified retail stores.
To ensure the supply of gasoline and oil to serve the Tet market, contributing to stabilizing the market in accordance with the direction of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi in Official Dispatch No. 17557/UBND-KTTC dated November 26, 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade has directed petroleum businesses in the province to develop plans, assign reserve targets, and supply goods during the Lunar New Year 2025 to meet the needs of the people in a timely manner, ensuring market price stability, avoiding shortages and price hikes. In addition, the Department will coordinate with the Market Management Department and districts, towns, and cities to regularly inspect and supervise the maintenance of sales, implementation of legal regulations on petroleum trading; check the quality, measurement, and selling prices of gasoline and oil at retail stores in the area. During the inspection and supervision process, if any petroleum business establishments are found to have committed violations in their business activities, especially hoarding goods and creating a shortage of supply, they will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
