Ensuring the best conditions for organizing exams in 2024 safely, with quality and in accordance with regulations

On May 22, the Steering Committee for the 2024 exams of Ninh Thuan province (SC) held a conference to deploy the work of the entrance exams for grade 10 high school in the 2024-2025 school year and the high school graduation exam in 2024. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the SC chaired the conference.

In 2024, Ninh Thuan province will organize the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year from June 1 to 3. The whole province has 8,189 candidates registered for the exam. The total number of candidates mobilized to serve the exam is expected to be more than 1,100 people. Regarding the admission method, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted will conduct the entrance exam; the remaining schools will conduct the entrance exam combined with the selection method. Candidates will take 3 general subjects, including: Literature, Math, English and specialized subjects for candidates applying to Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be held from June 26 to 29, 2024. The province has 6,317 candidates registered for the exam; of which, there are 5,722 candidates from high school, 402 candidates from continuing education and 193 candidates taking the university entrance exam. The province has arranged 17 exam sites with 275 exam rooms and 27 waiting rooms; the number of exam supervisors is expected to be more than 1,000 people.

Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation work for the organization of the exams in 2024 of the Education and Training sector, as well as the active, proactive and responsible coordination of agencies, departments, branches and localities in the province. He emphasized that the high school graduation exam and grade 10 entrance exam in 2024 are very important exams, which are directed by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Provincial Party Committee. In order for the exams to be organized safely, in accordance with regulations, objectively and with quality, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested members of the Steering Committee, agencies, departments, branches at all levels and local authorities to continue to improve their sense of responsibility, coordinate to ensure the best conditions for the exams; absolutely ensure confidentiality, security and order; safety in all stages: exam questions, exam papers; traffic safety; food safety and disease prevention; fire and explosion prevention; information security; uninterrupted power supply... at locations for printing and copying exam papers, invigilation, grading, making exam papers and places of accommodation for officers, teachers, staff working on exams, parents, and candidates coming from far away to attend exams.

The Department of Education and Training, the standing agency of the Steering Committee, coordinates with sectors and localities to continue to review, advise, and fully prepare conditions for organization to ensure compliance with the requirements of each exam; coordinates well with inspection teams of the Ministry of Education and Training during their working time in the province; directs examination sites to grasp the situation of candidates participating in the exams; promptly handles possible situations; thoroughly instructs examination officers to strictly implement the regulations and rules of the exams, but not create a tense atmosphere for candidates. The Department of Information and Communications presides over and coordinates with the Department of Education and Training, relevant agencies, Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Ninh Thuan Newspaper to promote communication work on the contents of the exams in 2024 so that people and parents can promptly grasp information, share, trust, support and agree. The Provincial Youth Union coordinates to well organize activities to support candidates. People's Committees of districts and cities direct relevant departments and branches to proactively visit and create favorable conditions for delegations working on exams in localities, promptly grasp the situation of candidates, especially those in difficult circumstances, to promptly encourage and provide necessary mental and material support, and not let any cases drop out or be absent from exams due to economic difficulties or travel difficulties when attending exams...
