Ensuring security and order for the Ha Long Carnival 2025 program

To ensure security and order for the program, Quang Ninh Provincial Police have developed a plan and organized a survey of Sun Carnival Square, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City (where the Carnival program takes place) and the places where delegates eat and stay. In addition, they have assigned tasks to the coordinating forces to deploy the work of grasping the situation, ensuring security and order, traffic, logistics, and health care for the program; coordinating the fight against all types of crimes and hostile forces that take advantage of the program for criminal activities.

The provincial police have also coordinated, propagated, and requested hotels and accommodation establishments in the area to ensure security and order, food safety and hygiene requirements, fire prevention and fighting, and living conditions for delegates, guests, and tourists staying.

Up to now, all plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety serving the activities of the Ha Long Carnival 2025 program have been closely coordinated by the Provincial Police with localities in Ha Long City, relevant departments and branches to synchronously deploy.

The Provincial Police Department has assigned leaders to directly inspect, monitor and urge the implementation of measures and plans to ensure security and safety. Develop contingency plans, be ready to respond to all situations, especially at the venue of the Carnival, and ensure absolute safety for the people and delegates attending.

At the end of the working session, Comrade Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Long City, agreed with the plan to ensure security and order of the Provincial Police. At the same time, he directed the Subcommittee on Security and Order and Environment, departments, offices, and People's Committees of relevant wards to closely coordinate with the Provincial Police, fully meeting the conditions for participating forces to organize the program to ensure absolute safety. He also requested that units proactively provide official information, post on mass media the travel plan, and divide the traffic routes in the Carnaval area so that people can grasp the information and proactively participate in the program safely and conveniently.

Ha Long Carnival 2025 will be held at 8:00 p.m. on May 1 at Sun Carnival Square and Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bai Chay Ward with the theme: "Ha Long Carnival 2025 - Connecting heritage, pioneering the shine". The program consists of 4 parts, including: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnival grand ball; DJ performance; high-altitude fireworks display.

This year's festival has many distinct highlights: Convergence of intangible heritages from 3 regions, honoring national identity on the background of world natural wonders combined with modern technologies such as: 3D mapping, laser, light shows. The Ha Long Carnival 2025 grandstand is designed to be the largest ever with a total of 15,000 seats to serve people and tourists (an increase of 5,000 seats compared to 2024).
