Vocational training was provided to 8,566 people.
At the beginning of 2024, Dak Nong set a target of providing vocational training to 4,000 people. In reality, Dak Nong has far exceeded the initial plan. During the year, the province provided vocational training to 8,566 people, achieving over 214% of the target and 100.8% compared to the same period in 2023.
During the year, 379 people received intermediate and advanced level training. At the basic level and for courses lasting less than 3 months, 8,187 people received vocational training, mainly in car driving, through a socialized model.
This is an impressive result that far exceeds the set targets, contributing to the creation of a skilled workforce that meets the needs of future economic and social development.

A key factor in achieving this result is Dak Nong's well-organized and strategically distributed system of vocational training facilities across its districts and cities.
Dak Nong currently has 19 institutions and units participating in vocational education activities, including: Dak Nong Community College, Phuong Nam Economic and Technical College; 4 vocational education centers; and 13 establishments with the function of providing vocational education from intermediate and basic levels, and regular training courses of less than 3 months.
Despite facing numerous challenges regarding infrastructure and teacher shortages, vocational training institutions in the province have made significant efforts and achieved impressive results. The vocational training system has overcome difficulties, found solutions to expand its scale, diversify its fields, professions, training levels, and training types, and improve quality, gradually meeting the needs of the labor market.

Over 19,759 jobs were created.
Dak Nong has made significant progress in creating jobs for workers. In 2024, the province set a target of creating jobs for 18,300 people. The actual number of jobs created exceeded 19,759, reaching 108% of the planned target.
Of these, 19,249 jobs were created domestically. Dak Nong also has over 510 workers employed abroad on fixed-term contracts, mainly in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. This not only helps solve unemployment problems but also increases income and provides opportunities for learning and experience for workers.

A highlight in job creation efforts is the provision of loans for job creation from the National Employment Fund and the provincial budget. In 2024, the province approved loans for 2,442 projects totaling 139 billion VND, supporting the creation of jobs for over 2,500 workers. This is an important resource that helps people, especially poor households, have the opportunity to develop their family economies and stabilize their lives.

Mr. Hoang Viet Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Nong, shared: “To continue building on the achievements already made and overcome existing limitations, Dak Nong will continue to promote propaganda, counseling, and vocational training linked to job placement. The province supports people in accessing career development opportunities.”
The province's continued improvement of infrastructure, enhancement of the quality of vocational teachers, and improvement of the labor market information system will be crucial factors for more sustainable development in the future.

In addition, Dak Nong province is developing vocational training programs closely linked to economic and social development. The province pays special attention to training in new professions that are suitable for the needs of the labor market in the era of integration.
Policies supporting loans for job creation need to be expanded and improved, making it easier for workers to access capital, thereby creating opportunities for career development for the people, especially poor households and ethnic minorities.
