In order to proactively and effectively control dangerous diseases in livestock, poultry, and diseases transmitted between animals and humans, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3057/UBND-NNMT, sent to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities on the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 83/BNNMT-CNTY dated March 14, 2025 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on strengthening the implementation of disease prevention and control measures and urgently vaccinating livestock.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to focus all resources to speed up the progress of vaccination and disinfection to ensure completion on schedule according to regulations, not to let it expire or expire; review booster vaccinations, supplementary vaccinations, ensure that at least 80% of livestock are fully vaccinated with the right type of vaccine at the time of vaccination, especially for dangerous diseases in livestock.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall strengthen the management of quarantine and control of the transportation of animals and animal products; organize the prevention and strict handling of cases of illegal transportation of animals and animal products across the border; strengthen inspection, supervision, detection and strict handling of cases of trading, transporting and slaughtering animals that do not ensure requirements on disease prevention, control and food safety.
