Taking place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, the competition is part of the 7th National Startup Festival for students, chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) from April 18 to 20, 2025.
The project that won the third prize was: “Research on some products from K'nia seeds - A gift from the great forest” by a group of students Ha Gia Bao, Nguyen Pham Huyen Linh, Do Hanh Nguyen, Le Tran Tram Anh (Cao Nguyen Practice High School). The project focused on exploiting the nutritional and economic value of K'nia seeds to create unique products such as: K'nia rice paper, K'nia salt, K'nia candy, K'nia cookies...

This year’s competition attracted more than 700 startup projects from students nationwide; of which 125 excellent projects participated in the final round.
