VTC cooperates with Guangxi Radio and Television to make documentary 'The Path of Development'

The documentary The Development Path is a joint production and broadcasting project between VTC Digital Television Station under the Voice of Vietnam and Guangxi Radio and Television Station, China, towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025).

The film consists of 2 episodes. Episode 1 tells about the "path" of Vietnam - China friendship established by generations of the two Parties and two countries, about the traditional friendship through mutual assistance and support between the two Parties, two countries and the two peoples in the cause of fighting for national independence and liberation.

The closing ceremony of the film "The Road to Development" took place on November 26 at the National Broadcasting Center (58 Quan Su, Hanoi).

Episode 2, through typical projects, continues to tell the story of cooperation between the two countries in the current period, as well as future prospects. The imprints of cooperation in politics, economics, culture, society, etc. are vividly shown through specific stories and characters.

Speaking at the closing ceremony on the morning of November 26, VOV Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien said that Voice of Vietnam had received approval from the Central Propaganda Department, and assigned VTC Digital Television to coordinate with Guangxi Radio and Television Station to produce the film.

The documentary The Development Path, with its continuity from the past to the present, from high-level cooperation to people-to-people exchange, shows the efforts of the two Parties, two countries, and two peoples towards the goal of happy people, prosperous countries, for the development of the socialist cause, for the cause of peace and progress of humanity.

Director of Guangxi Radio and Television Station, Editor-in-Chief Pham Dich said: " On January 18, 2025, the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Therefore, Guangxi Radio and Television Station and Voice of Vietnam jointly produced the documentary "The Road to Development" to thoroughly implement the guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, as a gift to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, further consolidating the social foundation of the friendship between the two countries".

Mr. Pham Dich added: " After nearly a year of planning, preparation and filming, the film, the crystallization of the efforts of the media of China and Vietnam, can now be completed. I look forward to the completion of post-production and simultaneous broadcast in both countries as planned, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam.

I believe that at that time, Chinese and Vietnamese audiences will be able to enjoy a well-produced and meaningful documentary, contributing to further strengthening the understanding and affection between the people of the two countries."

After the closing ceremony, both units joined hands to complete post-production of the film, to screen in both countries on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

Parallel to the Closing Ceremony of the documentary The Development Path is the Signing Ceremony of the Film Broadcasting Cooperation Agreement between VTC Digital Television and Guangxi Radio and Television. This event marks an important step forward in promoting media and cultural cooperation, aiming to portray the journey of sustainable development and cooperation between the two countries.
