Professional Border Guard Captain returns nearly 20 million VND to the person who lost it

Professional soldier Captain Nguyen Quoc Huong - a driver of the Border Guard Command of Bac Lieu province has just been awarded an extraordinary reward by the Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 2 for his good deed of picking up lost property and returning it to its owner.

Captain Nguyen Quoc Huong (Border Guard of Bac Lieu province) and Captain Vo Van Thinh ( Border Guard of Tien Giang province) returned lost property to its owner.

Specifically, Lieutenant General Pham Duc Duyen - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 2 is the person who signed the decision to unexpectedly commend Captain Nguyen Quoc Huong (Bac Lieu Border Guard) and Captain Vo Van Thinh (Tien Giang Provincial Border Guard). These are two comrades who were mobilized to reinforce Military Region 2 to perform the task of ensuring the parade, marching in the Party Flag, National Flag and Red Flag Bloc, currently stationed at Regiment 96, Division 309, Military Region 7.

On the morning of April 8, after having breakfast in the kitchen and returning to the barracks, Captain Huong and Captain Thinh discovered a wallet dropped on the side of the road. A preliminary check found that the wallet contained nearly 20 million VND and some personal papers in the name of Nguyen Duy Dung (residing in Cam Ly commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province). Immediately, the two comrades reported to the Bloc commander according to the hierarchy. The parade organizing committee of Military Region 2 directed a quick search of the entire parade force of the Military Region as well as notified the units stationed at Division 309 to search for and return the wallet to the person who dropped it.

Accordingly, the person who lost the property was identified as Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Dung - an officer of Division 325, Corps 12, who was training in the Army Soldiers' Bloc to serve the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. The entire amount of money and documents were received by Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Dung with indescribable joy.

According to the assessment of the Commander of the Party Flag, National Flag and Red Flag Blocks, Captain Huong and Captain Thinh have always been enthusiastic and responsible in their work, sociable in daily life, and loved by their comrades and teammates since they were assigned to the unit.
