A joyful musical feast celebrating the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day

The art program with the theme "Southern Central Highlands celebrates Liberation Day" is like a "musical feast" telling the story of the historical flow of the country in general, Lam Dong in particular, until the day of national reunification.

On the evening of April 3, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat City), the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025) towards the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Party Central Committee member Nguyen Duc Hai, along with many leaders of central departments and branches; leaders and former leaders of Lam Dong province through the periods, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces; veteran comrades who fought on the southern battlefield and participated in the liberation of Lam Dong-Da Lat, along with a large number of people and tourists.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, reviewed the great achievements of the Lam Dong army and people in the movement, highly appreciating the achievements that Lam Dong province had achieved during the resistance war as well as after the country's reunification.

The General emphasized that in the coming time, Lam Dong needs to focus on and promote the spirit of self-reliance to successfully achieve the set goals; thereby creating a solid foundation to enter the new era, building Lam Dong into a rich, civilized, and steadily growing province.

The ceremony aims to review the heroic fighting tradition of the Vietnamese people in general and Lam Dong in particular about the historical significance of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, unifying the country; at the same time, expressing deep gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed their blood for the cause of national liberation.

Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai affirmed that after the country's reunification, Lam Dong began to overcome the consequences of war, build and develop the local socio-economy.

In 2024, Lam Dong achieved positive results, becoming a fairly developed province in the country, with an average GRDP per capita of 103.6 million VND, and budget revenue in 2024 of 13,100 billion VND...

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province also awarded the Medal "For the cause of construction and development of Lam Dong province" to 50 outstanding individuals who are former leaders of the province, district and city leaders, and individuals with outstanding contributions in various fields to the locality.

After the ceremony is an art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lam Dong Liberation Day, aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day with the theme "The Southern Central Highlands celebrates Liberation Day."

The program is like a "musical feast" telling the story of the historical flow of the country in general, Lam Dong in particular, until the day of national reunification.

The classic works of revolutionary music performed by many famous singers and artists such as Meritorious Artist Viet Hoang, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Diva My Linh, singer Khanh Linh, musician Y Phon Ksor... brought the audience a feeling of sublimation on the day the country was filled with joy./.
