* The Government Cipher Committee has the function of advising the Party and the State on cipher work, performing cipher activities; contributing to ensuring absolute confidentiality, safety, accuracy and timeliness of information serving the leadership of the Party, management of the State, direction and command of the people's armed forces in all situations; proactively preventing and participating in the fight against cryptographic activities that harm national security, the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations and individuals.
